About Bailey

Hey everyone! My name is Bailey Campanini and I am a senior at this wonderful school known as William Woods University! I’m working on a major in Communications with an emphasis in Leadership and I also have a minor in Theatre. I’m from The Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. I was home-schooled all the way up through my senior year of high school, so adjusting to college was a big switch for me. However, I fell in love with WWU’s campus the very first time I toured it, and it has felt like home ever since!

The main reason I chose to attend William Woods was its size. I wanted a small school where I could develop a personal relationship with my teachers in addition to an academic one, and that’s exactly what I found. I also love how easy it is to get involved in so many different things! Even though it’s not my actual major, I’m extremely involved in the theatre program at the Woods—I have been in too many productions to count! I am also a University Ambassador and a member of President’s Twenty, Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, and several honor societies including Omicron Delta Kappa, Alpha Chi, and Alpha Psi Omega. Last but certainly not least, I served as a peer mentor during orientation last fall and a freshman advantage mentor this summer. Obviously, this all keeps me pretty busy, but I love it and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

I have had a few big updates in my life recently… First, I got engaged this summer! Second, I have two internships back at The Lake this semester, one with a company called Training Sysems, Inc., and the other called C Clarity Consulting. Both seem to be along the lines of what I’m hoping to do professionally after I graduate, so I’m very excited for this opportunity! I do, however, miss being on campus and I’m looking forward to moving back to Fulton in the spring.

Thanks for dropping by to say hello! I hope you enjoy following along my last year here at The Woods. I also hope you get a chance to come tour the school in person…. I would love to meet all of you!
