Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Joanie Ryan and I am a sophomore here at William Woods University! I am a Biology major (Pre-vet concentration) and I have Equestrian Science, American Sign Langue, and Chemistry minors. I love having the opportunity to take so many different kinds of classes!
One of the main reasons I chose William Woods University is because of the small campus atmosphere with lots of opportunities to get involved! Right now I am a member of Alpha Phi sorority, Biology Club, Pre-Vet Club, Campus Activities Board, Active Minds Club, the Honor’s Program, University Ambassadors, and I am working closely with a faculty member on a Mentor/Mentee project. I enjoy being busy and involved so I can meet many new faces and try new things!
When I’m not on our beautiful campus, I live in Longmont, Colorado. When I’m at home, I can take a 45-minute drive to get to the heart of the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park, and the closest ski resort is only an hour away! Christmas break is the perfect time to go home and hit the slopes, but I am always ready to come back to school and catch up with my friends and professors.
Thank you for visiting my page and I hope you’ll follow along as I spend another wonderful year here at William Woods University!
