Hi! My name is Katherine Wortmann and I am a senior here at William Woods University! My hometown is Mexico, MO, which is about twenty minutes away from campus. I am a double major in American Sign Language Interpreting and American Sign Language Studies, which I absolutely love because I think languages and cultures are awesome!
I absolutely love being involved here The Woods, which is why I decided to join my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. I am also a member of several other campus organizations, including Student Alumni Council, Hands Up Club, Multicultural Affairs Club, University Ambassadors, Telecounseling and Phonathon!
When I'm not attending meetings or in class, I enjoy showing off my creative side, which is why photography and crafting are some of my favorite hobbies! I also love going to the movies and eating at my favorite restaurant, Jaliscos! Cheese dip, anyone?
I love WWU with all my heart and am so happy that you are interested in learning more about it! I'll be blogging every week about my experiences and adventures, so make sure you check back in. I think my senior year is going to be my craziest year, and I can't wait to share it with you!
Don't forget to follow me! I'll see you soon!
Smiles and sunshine! 🙂
