About Sally

Hi and welcome! My name is Sally Jane Bohlinger and I am a senior here at William Woods University – go Owls! I transferred to WWU in the fall of 2010 after attending two other universities. I am a triple-major with American Sign Language Interpreting, Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism, and American Sign Language Studies. It keeps me busy and I would not want it any other way!

One of the main reasons I decided on William Woods (besides the awesome interpreting program they have) was because I knew that I would be able to get involved and be active around campus and the town. Currently, I am a member of President’s Twenty, International Justice Mission, Student Website Advancement Team, Hands Up Club, a Freshman Advantage Mentor, and am also the Head Community Advisor for Lambert Hall. The small school allows one to be involved in so much, which is great to take advantage of and be able to really round out your resume!

I am from the great state of Minnesota and grew up in the city of Columbia Heights which is on the northern outskirts of Minneapolis. When I go home now though, I head to Lake Elmo, which is East of St. Paul (this means I live about 20 minutes from the Mall of America!).

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’ll follow along as I spend my last year here at the Woods!
