A Semester Winding Down

It's scary to think there's only a few more weeks of the semester left.

Currently, I'm trying to finish my LEAD points this month, wrap up some semester long biology projects and get in the right mind set for finals all as the weather is starting to become so cold!

I feel like a maniac running around campus trying to get through every day but I love the chaos and wouldn't have it any other way!

I'm super excited to go home for Thanksgiving. I miss my family so much. We usually eat dinner at my aunts house and my entire family goes. I've always been super close to everyone in my family and I feel like this will be a well deserved break from school.

In my opinion, the best tradition I have is with my mom. We go black Friday shopping and not only do I get new clothes, I get to spend time with only her. Between school out of state, an eleven year old brother, my step dad and her work plus her school, we don't really get a lot of time to spend together.

My brother Steven is my only brother. The age difference between us is a little straining sometimes but I love being his older sister. This year, for Christmas, I bought him a puppy that he picked out. Were not taking the puppy home until December, but he is picked out and already named, Hachi. Over Thanksgiving break, we will go buy a collar and some new toys for Hachi to come home to.

Halloween weekend has came and passed unfortunately.

This weekend has been one for the books. On Friday, My friends and I went to Necropolous in Columbia Mo. We waited for about 2 hours to get into the zombie themed haunted house. It was great. My friends Paige and Kate were terrified of all the Zombie people walking around but not me!

After the haunted house, we came back to Fulton and changed into our costumes to hang out with our friends. Paige and I decided to dress up as an Angel and Devil. Here we are with our friend Phil, who is dressed as a lumberjack.

On Saturday we got a little more creative with our costumes for a costume party on the Westminster Campus. My friends, Paige, Jessica and I decided to be the Charlie's angels spies. In my opinion, we rocked it.

We all wore leather jackets and painted hand guns we bought from the dollar store. We also carried around badges to make it seem more official.

I'm only looking forward to more things this week. I registered for my classes for next semester today and am taking a full schedule and more with 19 credit hours ( the normal is 12-18). Yikes!

I also have my best friends birthday this weekend so we are going to try to squeeze in some R&R time and go get massages, go shopping and get a nice dinner.

Is it over yet?

Midterm week came and went and is officially over! It seems as if this semester has flown right over my head. Where is the time going?

After taking tests in pretty much all my classes, William Woods had a fall break this weekend that was much needed for me.

It was nice to have the extra day to catch up on all my homework and still being able to see my friends.

Halloween is right around the corner and my roommate and I are trying to get our costumes lined up. A fraternity at Westminster is having a costume party which is awesome because Halloween is my favorite "holiday". So Paige, my roommate, and I are super excited.

A group of us also will be traveling to Columbia this weekend for some good ol' pumpkin pickin' and haunted house fun just to help us get in the spirit even more.

Hopefully you'll stop by some time soon and see the pictures I will upload of my pumpkin, costume and friends!
