Stinson Creek Trail

The weather was GORGEOUS last weekend in Fulton! I was able to hit up my favorite trail with my best friend, shoot some hoops, throw a football and relax outside. On Sunday I was wearing a tank top and shorts outside and it was still glorious.

My favorite part of good weather is walking the Stinson Creek Trail. It's a bit off the beaten path for the Woodsies but thankfully I know just how to get there. It starts out by the dog park with the railroad bridge and the trail continues on throughout all of Fulton. Though it doens't loop around, though I think that it should.

This cute little thing decided that it really liked me. He chased my car until I parked and then ran to me when I got out. I think his owners got jealous.

I have been walking the trail for a while, but I was really curious where it ended. A few Saturdays ago, my friend Sally Jo and I decided we would try to find it. We made it to about Seaman's Field and it seemed to end on the other side of the street, so we turned back. This round trip is about 15,000 steps according to my pedometer.

After making it almost to the end, I convinced my best friend Brandy that we needed to find the exact end. She was up for the challange and we followed the trail until it turns into a sidewalk over by the Fulton State Hospital. We kept walking the trail until we passed Veteran's Park. Then, we took a little break and went down the slides a few times.

This weekend we walked the farthest yet! I love having friends that I can do fun and healthy activities with! Nothing is better than nature and good friends.
